Imagine starting at Piazzale Michelangelo to watch the sunrise over the most beautiful skyline in the world. You’d then stroll down the Arno River towards the Uffizi Gallery. This is where Botticelli’s Birth of Venus delights everyone with its beauty. All this to finish off with a cup of the best Italian cappuccino in the most cinematic of all cafes. That’s right, Caffe Gilli gives you some William Wyler’s Audrey Hepburn vibes. Sounds like a movie, doesn’t it?

Morning Or Evening?

Given all the above, sunrise is the best time to fully immerse yourself in the magic of Florence. Sunset is a perfect time for the Tuscan countryside. After spending a morning in the city we can meet again among the rolling fields in the heart of Tuscany. There’s a countless number of stunning locations to choose from. Some of the most famous ones include the surroundings of Colle di Val d’Elsa, Cortona, San Gimignano or Pienza. The best option you can go with is renting a private villa either in Tuscany or in Umbria. This gives you access to peace and quiet plus some epic views of the hills with rows of cypress trees. If you need inspiration, make sure you check out Castello di Casole, Villa Barco, Villa Cetinale or Castello di Reschio.
